Welcome to Pond Wood Solar Farm! This is a proposed solar project near Appledore Road, west of Kenardington, TN26 2NB. The site is located in the Borough of Ashford.
This site will generate enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of 10,605 homes each year. The proposed solar farm will have a capacity of 35MW.
The location was carefully chosen. It is well screened by existing woodland, hedgerows and individual trees and does not fall within any statutory landscape designations, making it a great spot for a solar farm.
